Because of the crazy beautiful weather we've been having lately, we've been going outside a lot. The other night, Cade got out his tee and Lydia had never seen it before so she had no idea what it was. At first, she stood on it and said, 'Help me hop, mommy.' She thought it was a pogo stick! I explained to her that it wasn't a pogo stick, but I also wasn't quite willing to explain what it really was. Come on. There were a hundred different things out already and I didn't feel like chasing a ball around for the rest of the evening. Besides, what happened next convinced me to never, ever explain to her what it's intended purpose really is. Suddenly, it turned into open mic night at the Dennis house:
Thank you, Topeka! Goodnight!!!
So I had absolutely no idea what to post on all those pictures up there without captions. I think they pretty much speak for themselves. She was singing the whole time. You should hear her rendition of Justin Bieber's "Baby, Baby". Is that even it's name? I don't know. It's what I'm calling it. She sang the theme to iCarly, the Wiggly-Giggly song, Bingo, her ABC's Super Why-style and a couple songs she made up on the fly about random things she saw in the garage. Hopefully she'll remember the 'Helmet' song she made up the next time we're outside. I only wish I had one of those lighter phone apps. I would have totally been waving it above my head. And I wish I had got this on video. Gotta learn how to upload video from Cade's recorder and get it on here.
