Washburn Homecoming

Last Saturday was Washburn's homecoming. It was a bit chilly, but we decided to pack it up and head on down to take part in some of the festivities. With chairs and wagon in tow, we bundled up and had a good time.

Once everyone saw our wagon, they all said to themselves, 'Yes! THAT'S what we're bringing next time to haul all our gear!' OK, so I'm not sure if that's what they were really saying when they saw us with it, but that's what I'm telling myself they were saying. ;-]

'You coming, Mom?'

Staking our claim. Or is it claiming our stake? Never could figure that one out...

Uh-oooh.
Lydia spotted Ichabod.
Wonder how she's do
ing...

Oooh.
Not good.

Their mothers must be so proud.

Finally!
A picture of the coaches that doesn't creep me out!

Love this tradition.

'Let's go, Bods! Beat Pitt State!'

We met up with some friends who have kids the same age as Cade and Lydia. Sarah and Ryan are our kids gender opposites but the same age. Does that make sense? Anyway, they had a good time running around and being silly.

'I kicked it!'

Lydia loves to 'go runnin'.'

Posing with the art on campus.

Ummmmm....what are you guys lookin' at?

Belly flop!

Great catch!

It's good!

This poor little girl looked sssssoooo cooooooold!

The half-time score. Against Pittsburg State.
Yeah.
I know.
(For those of you not up on your WU/PSU football history,
it NEVER used to be like this!)

Clowning around in the union during half-time.

Wish I knew earlier they had the game on.
DURING THE GAME!!!!
Where was this when I was in school?

The Daddy Jungle Gym. Every household should have one.

Yay! FINALLY a picture of me on here!!!
(Thanks for taking it, Susie!!!)

Lydia wanted a turn pulling the ol' Radio Flyer.
She was only able to pull it a few
feet before she said, 'You do it, Mommy.'
Oh and by the way, Washburn won 55-3.
Awesome.
